What is a vacuum bag (vacuum pouch) and what is it used for?+
A vacuum bag — also called a vacuum pouch — is a high-barrier packaging bag from which the air is evacuated with a vacuum sealer. It protects food, meat, cheese, textiles and other products from oxygen and moisture and extends shelf life 3–5 times.
Do you export vacuum bags outside Türkiye?+
Yes. We are a manufacturer based in Istanbul and ship to customers worldwide. Prices are quoted EXW (ex-works) Istanbul in US dollars; shipping, freight, insurance and import duties are the buyer’s responsibility. You may use your own forwarder or ask us to obtain a freight quote for you.
How are vacuum bags priced?+
All our vacuum bags are sold by the kilogram. The minimum order is 25 kg, supplied in 25, 50, 75 and 100 kg lots. The current price per kilogram is shown on this page and on every product page in USD (converted from our Turkish lira list price at the daily exchange rate). Prices exclude VAT and freight.
Who pays for shipping?+
Shipping and freight costs are paid by the buyer. Goods are priced EXW Istanbul: we pack the order on pallets/boxes and hand it over to your forwarder or the carrier you choose. On request we can collect freight quotes (air, sea or road) on your behalf.
Are your vacuum bags food-safe?+
Yes. The raw material is food-contact approved — BPA- and phthalate-free, without toxic plasticisers. The FDA & TSE certified PE+PA barrier structure is suitable for sous-vide cooking and freezer use.
What sizes and thicknesses do you produce?+
We stock 10 standard sizes from 15x20 cm to 40x60 cm in 80 and 90 micron. Custom sizes and thicknesses from 60 to 200 micron are produced on request.
What is the lead time?+
Standard sizes are kept in stock and are ready for hand-over within 24 hours of order confirmation. Custom production takes 7–15 working days depending on quantity.
