Vacuum Bag Production Process
From raw material selection to hand-over, we apply quality control at every stage. Here are the main steps in the production of our vacuum bags.
- 🧪1
Raw Material Selection
Production starts with the careful selection of food-contact approved (FDA & TSE certified), BPA-free, high-barrier PE and PA polymers.
- ⚙️2
Multi-layer Extrusion
The polymers are co-extruded into a multi-layer PE+PA barrier film. This structure minimises oxygen permeability.
- 📏3
Film Preparation
The film passes micron-thickness checks. 80 and 90 micron are our standard thicknesses; custom thicknesses from 60 to 200 micron are produced on request.
- ✂️4
Cutting & Sealing
Film cut to the required dimensions is sealed on three sides on high-frequency sealing lines to form leak-proof bags.
- 🔍5
Quality Control
Every batch is tested for seal strength, leak tightness, optical quality and thickness. Products outside tolerance are rejected.
- 📦6
Weighing & Hand-over
Bags are weighed and packed by the kilogram on pallets or in boxes, ready for hand-over to your forwarder within 24 hours (EXW Istanbul — freight paid by buyer).
Main Functions of Vacuum Packaging
Vacuum packing provides multi-sided protection that extends shelf life and preserves product quality.
- 💧Protects fresh products against drying out
- 🌾Protects dried products against moisture absorption
- 🛡️Protects products against light, oxygen and other external gases
- 🌿Protects products against aroma loss
- 🚫Protects products against surrounding odours
- 🦠Prevents the growth of micro-organisms and limits aerobic bacteria
- ✨Provides an attractive sales presentation
